Before
each harvesting season, we estimate the crop of each of our
customer’s grove to determine the best marketing strategy.
At the start of the season, Steve Cassens contacts buyers from
packinghouses and juice plants and continues to monitor prices
for the fruit to determine the best route for each of our customer’s
fruit. Bobby Thompson, our harvesting manager, has the
experience and the knowledge of each block in our customer’s
groves to select and pick the superior quality fresh fruit the
packinghouses demand. Cassens Grove Service
arranges for statewide
hauling of fruit to juice plants and fresh packinghouses for
all our
customers.
